NEET UG Exam will not be held in 8 districts of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 12/04/2023: The National Testing Agency has already started preparing for the NEET exam. In view of the seriousness of NEET exam, examination centers have not been set up in eight districts of Bihar. It includes Arwal, Khagaria, Kaimur, Jamui, Banka, Araria, Nawada and Sheikhpura.
Its notification has been issued by NTA. NTA has reduced the exam cities in the state from the point of view of security. Earlier in NEET UG 2022, the examination was held in 35 cities of the state. But due to lapses in security and other arrangements, NTA will not organize NEET UG in eight cities of the state.

The exam will be held at exam centers in 27 cities in Bihar. In this Patna, Hajipur, Madhubani, Gaya, Nalanda, Vaishali, Arrah, Begusarai, Bettiah, Bhagalpur, Buxar, Darbhanga, Siwan, Supaul, Aurangabad, Sitamarhi Gopalganj, Jehanabad, Katihar, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Munger, Motihari, Purnia, Samastipur, Examination centers will be made in Sasaram, Muzaffarpur. Many strict steps are being taken by NTA to prevent fraud in NEET UG. Questions have been raised many times on Bihar's examinations. Keeping this in mind, adequate security arrangements will be made in the examination. Now the admit card will be issued 48 hours before the exam in NEET UG just like JEE Main. In NEET UG also, the admit card will be issued two days before the exam.
Four city co-ordinators will be appointed in the state
NTA will appoint four city co-ordinators in the state to ensure better security and conduct the examination in an orderly manner. Principals of Kendriya Vidyalayas and principals of some private schools will be appointed by NTA as City Co-ordinators. NTA will write a letter to all the district officials of the exam city regarding better security at the NEET center. Will write a letter to the district administration where the center of NEET is located, demanding strict security.
