The Patna High Court (PHC) has summoned the state govt for the recruited of principals & teachers of bihar law colleges. The court ordered the govt to file a counter affidavit within 2 weeks & give complete information about the restoration. On Monday, a division bench of Chief Justice Justice K Vinod Chandran & Justice Madhuresh Prasad heard the matter. The court asked the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department to provide complete information regarding the status of law colleges in the state. The court said whether the teachers are working in the law colleges of bihar as per the guidelines & guidelines of the UGC, what action has been taken to improve the educational level in law colleges.

Candidate's counsel Dinu Kumar told the court that principals & teachers of most of the law colleges in the state do not have educational qualification as per UGC norms. Not only this, without passing NET exam, they are still on the post. Principal of many law colleges do not even have a PhD degree. Even after the instructions & guidelines of BCI, there was no significant improvement in the law colleges of Bihar. Even after inspection by BCI, many law colleges don't meet the prescribed standards. While the Vice-Chancellor told the patna high court that a meeting with the VCs of the state universities took place on 3 April.
