Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said in a virtual meeting of Education Department officials on Wednesday that an example will be set in the country by changing the face of the education system in the state. After the meeting, he told that a proposal was sent to the Government of India after identifying 232 schools in the state for PM-Shri School, an ambitious scheme related to educational reform of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, out of which, in the first phase, the Government of India has given 142 schools PM-Shri schools. Rawat said that a proposal has been prepared by the department to make 559 cluster schools by merging 1520 intermediate schools across the state, this proposal will be placed in the next cabinet. Earlier in the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, approval has been given for 603 primary and 76 upper primary cluster schools. Similarly, 2262 schools of intermediate level have been identified by grading school buildings in five categories across the state, out of which new buildings of 122 schools will be constructed, while major construction will be done in 539 schools, minor construction in 886 schools and color scheme in 715 schools. Will be lacquered.


Secretary School Education Ravinath Raman, District Magistrates of all districts, Director General School Education Banshidhar Tiwari, Director Secondary Education Seema Jaunsari, Director Basic Education Vandana Garbyal, APD Samagra Shiksha Mukul Sati were present in the virtual meeting.
