Jharkhand Post Office Recruitment 2023 Apply Online for 1170 posts latest news update
Latest Updated 24/04/2023: There is great news for the youth of Jharkhand. Matriculation & Inter pass youth can get employment in the Department of Posts. For this, restoration has been carried out on the big quantity across the country. In this, 1170 posts will be recruited in Jharkhand alone. There will be recruitment on 76 posts in Bihar, while 340 in Uttarakhand and 168 in Uttar Pradesh.
In fact, the postal department has planned to provide banking facilities to the customers in rural areas. Branch post offices are to be opened at every five kms. For this, 13,283 youth will be necessary across the country. Where & how many post offices will be opened, information has been sought from the local authorities.

Senior Superintendent of Postal Department of Jharkhand, Udaybhan Singh said that 548 branch postmasters, 577 Gramin Dak Sevak assistants, 27 postal assistants, six inspectors and 12 postal mail overseers will be reinstated in Jharkhand. On the other hand, 36 branch postmasters, 40 Gramin Dak Sevak assistants and one postal assistant will be appointed in Bihar.

340 will be appointed in Uttarakhand and 168 in Uttar Pradesh
The Department of Posts will restore 340 youths in Uttarakhand & 168 in Uttar Pradesh. There is so need for 169 branch postmasters, 173 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) assistants, 8 postal assistants, 2 inspectors & 4 postal mail overseers. On the other hand, 75 branch postmasters, 85 Gramin Dak Sevak assistants, 3 postal assistants will be reinstated in Uttar Pradesh. In so many places there will not be a single restoration. This includes the India's capital Delhi, Goa, North East, Andaman & Nicobar, Dadar & Nagar Haveli etc.
Good chance for youth
Sunil Kumar Suman which is Former postmaster of Bhagalpur Head Post Office said that the central govt has brought out the restoration in the postal department. There is an excellent opportunity for the youth in this. Efforts are now being made to provide banking facilities to the govt customers at the village level as well. In this the youth can show their knowledge or talent.
