Minister says Teachers will be reinstated in engineering colleges of Bihar by BPSC
Latest Updated 18/03/2023: By the next academic session, the appointment process of teachers in engineering colleges of the state would be completed. A requisition has been sent to the Bihar Public Service Commission for the reinstatement of teachers. BJP's Prof in the Legislative Council on Friday. Science and Technology Minister Sumit Kumar Singh gave this information in the House in response to a short notice question by Naval Kishore Yadav. The minister said that machines, tools, equipment, computers, libraries are available in all 38 engineering colleges. Hostel facility is available for the students. There are 875 teachers working in various faculties. 515 of the working teachers have been reinstated in 2022.
Responding to another drawing of attention by Kumar Nagendra, the minister said that 337 regular teachers are already working in engineering colleges. Out of 2222 teachers, the requisition for the posts of 32 principals, 168 professors, 429 associate professors and 1593 assistant professors has been sent to the Bihar Public Service Commission. The recommendation of 790 posts has been received from the Commission.
