BSEB Bihar Board: Answer book evaluation started, section 144 on the centers latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 02/03/2023: The evaluation of the matriculation answer book by the Bihar Board started from Wednesday. Section 144 has been foist on the evaluation centers. Being monitored by CCTV cameras. 172 centers have been set up across the state for answer book evaluation which will continue till March 12.


In order to maintain peace outside all the centres, orders have been given by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to keep printer shops, photo copy shops, cyber cafes etc. closed up to a distance of 100 yards. All examiners are prohibited from possessing and using mobile/cellular phones. All the evaluation centers are staffed by police and military personnel. Subject wise evaluation center has been created by Bihar Board. This will facilitate evaluation. Patna district has the maximum number of 12 evaluation centers.

The evaluation is taking place in two shifts. The first shift will be done from 7 am to 2 pm and the second shift will be done from 2 pm to 9 pm. Entry of marks from the evaluated answer book will be done on the same day. The marks will be sent online to the Board on the same day along with the entry of marks on the computer. So that the result can also be prepared simultaneously.


Guest teachers will evaluate the copies


Guest teachers will now be engaged in the evaluation of intermediate annual examination. At the local level, the appointment of the guest teacher will be done by the school principal i.e. the central superintendent. The Bihar Board has given this instruction to all the Center Superintendents. Guest teachers will be appointed at the examination centers where the subject's copies are left in large numbers. Patna DEO has appointed guest teachers in English subject. 36 guest teachers from across the district have been engaged for evaluation of English subject. According to the Bihar Board, there is a shortage of co-examiner in the intermediate evaluation. Due to this the progress of evaluation work is very slow. Guest teachers will be engaged for the evaluation to be completed on time.
