491 coal workers will become officers in Coal India including BCCL latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 22/03/2023: 491 coal workers of other subsidiary companies of Coal India including BCCL will become officers. This has been recommended on the basis of the DPC held on 15 February. Soon these coal workers will get promotion in officer grade. Out of the 491 recommended, about 50 coal workers of BCCL are also involved.
Presently, only mining cadre personnel have been recommended for promotion to officer grade. Official sources said that now only formality is left in the announcement of promotion. Final order will be issued after vigilance clearance etc. The names of personnel of all coal companies along with BCCL are included in this.
