Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) did not remove big vacancy after 2019 latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 07/02/2023: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not issued any advertisement for major recruitment after February 2019. According to the report released by the Ministry of Railways, two lakh 98 973 seats are vacant across the country. This information was provide by Ashwini Vaishnav who is Railway Minister in Rajya Sabha in response to the questions of MP Pramod Tiwari. In the year 2019, apart from 1 lakh 3 thousand in Group D, one lakh 39 thousand vacancies were removed including para medical and graduate NTPC. The process of filling these posts online is going on.
Restoration will come out this year According to the information received from the official sources of Railways, Ministry of Railways has sought posts from all 21 RABs across the country. It is expected that by the middle of the year 2023, recruitment will be done for 1 and 1/2 to two lakh vacant posts in the Railways. In this, there will be more restoration on the vacancies related to Group D & C. Its preparation is going on. Simultaneously, vacant posts of Group A & B will also be filled. These vacancies are filled through UPSC. Major posts are not removed after 2020 in Group A & Group B. Now, the preparation for this has also beganed.

Bihar students trend more
Bihar's stdents apply to all the 21 RRBs across the country for appointment in Railways. Bihar's students are more inclined towards govt jobs, especially railway jobs. In recent years, Bihar's students had also upset for the change in RRB Group D & NTPC exams. After this it was amended. Presently, the process of restoration on these vacancies is going on. On the other hand, on 20 February, it has been announced to run a campaign on social media by the students related to the recruitment in the railways.
In the East Central & East zones, 45000 posts are filled through RRBs in 18 zones. At present there are posts in all the zones of the country. Bihar areas come under East Central & Eastern Railway. There are 45000 posts including East Central and East Zone. Similarly, there are 42000 vacancies in West Central and West. At the same time thousands of vacancies are vacant in each of the 18 zones. There are more than 10 thousand posts in all zones except three zones East Coast, South East Central & South West.
