Latest Updated 12/02/2023: The deadline to apply for the assessment exam for assistant teachers (para teachers) of Jharkhand has been extended once again. Its deadline was over on 10 February, it has been extended to 16 February. Jharkhand Academic Council has issued its notification.
So far, the verification of certificates of 89% mercury teachers has been completed. Still more than 11 percent mercury teachers have not been able to apply. Till now, out of 61 thousand, the process of certificate verification of about six-seven thousand mercury teachers is pending. Due to this they are not able to apply for the assessment test. The government has given time till 16 February, giving a chance to the remaining mercury teachers.

During this the certificate verification will be completed and they will be able to apply online for the assessment test. Earlier, till now the deadline to apply for the assessment exam had been extended four times.
