BPSC no longer separate PT, common test on 30 September latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 13/02/2023: BPSC will now conduct Common Preliminary Examination (Common PT) for one type of preliminary examinations. It will start from 30 September this year. Commission Chairman Atul Prasad told a press conference on Sunday that after the consent of the government, the commission has started preparations.
In addition to the BPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, only one PT will be taken for CDPO, APO or other general category examinations. Common PT will be organized for the first time on 30th September. Apart from the 69th Combined Examination, there will be examination for other departments as well. However, separate merit list will be prepared for the result. After getting the vacancy, the result of the preliminary examination will be issued for the concerned department from the already prepared merit list.

He told that the idea of organizing the common main examination is also going on. Will implement it after getting consent from the departments participating in the examination. With this change, the candidates will be freed from appearing for repeated examinations. Results will also come on time.
