Latest Updated 24/01/2023: Special TET and STET examinations will be organized for Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects in Bihar. In fact, it has come to the notice of the Education Minister that there is a huge shortage of teachers for Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects in various schools of the state, while sufficient number of students studying in this subject are available.
At the same time, many students met the Education Minister and it was also told that for some of these subjects till date the Teacher Eligibility Test, which is a mandatory qualification for the recruitment of teachers, has not been conducted. Due to which there is deep disappointment and anger among the students who study keeping these subjects. The Education Minister has instructed the Education Department to prepare a complete action plan along with the rules for conducting special TET and STET.
Along with this, details of the total number of posts, working force, vacant posts of these subjects have also been sought so that a practical decision can be taken. Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects for class one to five paper one and class six to eight paper two will be organized for TET exam. Similarly, STET is being considered to conduct Class 9 to 10 Paper One and Class 11 to 12 Paper Two in Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects.
