No relaxation in Age limit for public teachers in Bihar Teacher Recruitment latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 21/01/2023: Public teachers will not get the benefit of age relaxation in teacher recruitment. He had approached the court seeking adjustment and age relaxation on the basis of his service in the reinstatement. The court had ordered the education department to review and take a decision.
Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh has issued an order regarding this on Friday. It has been directed that the public teachers will not get any separate benefit in teacher recruitment. It has been said that the norms have been set by the National Teacher Education Council regarding the reinstatement and no change is to be made in it.
On the basis of the work done at public education centers, the public teachers had demanded to be accommodated as regular workers like Shiksha Mitra. It was instructed that on the basis of the experience of this teaching work, they cannot get the benefit because there is no basis for adjustment in any other service. The Additional Chief Secretary has said that it is not lawful to violate the norms of the National Council for Teacher Education at the state level. Said that the department has taken a policy decision rejecting the claims of public teachers.
