JAC Matric Inter Exam date 2023: Start from 14 March latest news update
Practical and internal evaluation will be done in schools related to 7 February
Latest Updated 07/01/2022: JAC Board's matriculation and intermediate examinations will start from March 14. The matriculation examinations will continue till 3 April and inter till 5 April. Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released its schedule on Friday. About 4.30 lakh candidates will appear in matriculation and about 3.50 lakh candidates in intermediate. The admit card for matriculation will be available from January 28, while that of inter will be available from 30 January.
Practical and internal assessment of matriculation candidates will be done in the respective schools from 7 February to 4 March. At the same time, the practical and internal evaluation of Inter will be held in the respective institutes from 7 February to 4 March. Schools and colleges will be able to upload practical and internal assessment marks on JAC's website from 8 February to 6 March. If a student is absent in the practical examination and internal assessment, then he will not get a chance later, nor will his application be considered. The marks of practical and internal assessment of such students will not be added and their result will be affected, for which the entire responsibility will be of the school and college.

Examination will be done in OMR sheet and answer sheet
The matriculation and intermediate examinations will be conducted in OMR sheet and answer book. Both the exams will be of 40-40 marks, while 20 marks will be given for practical and internal assessment. There will be matriculation in the first shift and inter in the second shift on the scheduled date. The examination on OMR sheet of matriculation will be held from 9.45 am to 11.20 am, while the examination on question cum answer sheet will be held from 11.25 am to 1.05 pm. A gap of five minutes will be given between the examination on the OMR sheet and the answer sheet. At the same time, in Intermediate, the examination on OMR sheet will be held from 2 pm to 3.35 pm. After this, the examination on the answer sheet will be held from 3.40 pm to 5.20 pm.

Matriculation model paper released
JAC has also released the model paper for matriculation exam. Questions will be asked from the entire syllabus in the exam. In the 2022 exam, half of the 75 percent syllabus was taken on the OMR sheet and half on the answer sheet. There has been no reduction in the syllabus in the Matric-Inter examination of 2023 and questions are being asked from the entire syllabus.
Answer books will be evaluated from the end of April
The evaluation of OMR sheets and answer books of matriculation and intermediate examination will start from the last week of April. At the same time, its results will be released in the last week of May or in June. The process of determining the examination centers is also in the final stage. The list of examination centers has come from many districts, while it is yet to come from some districts.
