Latest Updated 07/01/2023: The Syndicate meeting of Patliputra University (PPU) was held on Friday. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting. In this, before the year 2018, the way for the promotion of pending teachers and non-teaching staff from Magadh University was cleared. Pending promotions of teachers and non-teaching staff were approved from the effective date of promotion. Their salary will be paid after the allocation is received from the government. This decision was approved by the syndicate members. Apart from this, the Syndicate members unanimously passed the proposed deficit budget of Rs 582 crore of the university.

Along with Syndicate Pro. A decision was taken on the question raised by Rajendra Gupta regarding the promotion of teachers in Physics and Economics to the post of professor. In the light of the recommendations of the selection committee and the prescribed rules, promotion to the post of professor will be given only after producing at least one PhD.
In the meeting, Director of Higher Education, Prof. Rekha Kumari, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Ganesh Mahto, Raj Bhavan Nominated Syndicate Member Prof. Deepika Gautam, Govt Nominee Prof. Rajendra Prasad Gupta, Pratibha Singh, Dean Prof. a. Of. Nag, Dr. Ramkishore Singh, Prof. Rimjhim Sheel, Proctor Dr. Manoj, Dr. Manibala, T.P.S. College Principal Prof. Upendra Prasad Singh, Controller of Examination Dr. Mahesh Mandal and other members also kept their views on important points. Registrar Dr. Jitendra Kumar presented all the points before the Syndicate members for approval.
20 percent increase in the honorarium of B.Ed teachers
A 20 percent increase in the honorarium of B.Ed teachers in colleges of Patliputra University was approved. Along with this, a recommendation has been given to increase the honorarium of experimental examiners.
