Jharkhand Teacher Recruitment 2023: 4200 Teachers will be appointed in Excellent, Model & Kasturba Schools latest news update
Latest Updated 01/02/2023: Teachers are to be appointed in 80 excellent schools, 325 model schools and 203 Kasturba schools in Jharkhand. The process of appointment and posting was to be completed by now, but it has not yet been confirmed in all the districts. The Department of School Education and Literacy has directed to complete the recruitment process by February.
About 32 hundred teachers are to be appointed in 404 excellent and ideal schools and one thousand teachers are to be appointed in Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential Schools. So far, the number of vacant posts in 122 schools in 405 excellent and ideal schools has not come from the districts. A total of eight districts including Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, East Singhbhum and Simdega have not provided the data. According to the statistics of the Education Department, according to the vacancies received so far, 2281 teachers are to be appointed. Of these, 1294 graduate trained teachers and 987 postgraduate teachers are to be appointed.

Districts have been instructed to complete the recruitment process by the end of February. Teachers will be appointed for 11 months on the lines of teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas. So far the recruitment process of female teachers in Kasturba schools in Dhanbad, East Singhbhum, Khunti, Ramgarh, Seraikela and Simdega districts has been completed, while the matter is under process in other districts. Somewhere the proposal is with the Deputy Commissioner and somewhere the roster has not been cleared. Education Secretary K. Ravi Kumar has said that the recruitment process in Kasturba schools was to be completed by 31 December, but the process could not be completed in many districts.
