Bihar Revenue Department Recruitment 2022: 182 posts will be appointed soon latest news update
Latest Updated 23/11/2022: 182 revenue officers will be appointed in the state. The state government has started its process. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has also identified the vacant posts. Initially there will be recruitment on 75 posts of revenue officers and their equivalent. The department has also sent its requisition to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).

They will be appointed through 67th and 68th BPSC. The remaining posts will be appointed in future. The department is already engaged in the process of appointing revenue officers on 66 posts. In fact, under the Bihar Revenue Service, the total sanctioned posts are 1597 in the basic category posts of Revenue Officer and equivalent grade. Out of this, 1197 posts are earmarked for direct recruitment. The rest are appointed through promotion and other process. Currently only 950 officers are working on direct appointment posts. Remaining 247 posts are lying vacant. The state government is engaged in the campaign of appointment to these posts. The process of appointment to 66 posts through 66th BPSC is in the final stages.
