26000 seats increased for CTET in UP latest news update
Latest Updated 24/11/2022: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday increased the number of seats in 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh by 26,458 in view of the problems being faced by the candidates due to full seats for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). However, the last date for online application was extended a day before Thursday. Earlier the total number of candidates was fixed at 5,02,748 in all 21 districts of UP. It was increased to 5,29,206 on Wednesday. All the seats that were increased were also full by 7 pm.

Teachers will be kept on contract in Kendriya Vidyalaya
Now again candidates have to fill the option of neighboring states of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan. Along with Kendriya and Navodaya Vidyalaya etc., CTET is also valid for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. CBSE has fixed the number of seats in districts for the first time for CTET of December session, due to which there is a problem.
Increase of about six thousand seats in Lucknow
Lucknow had the maximum number of 110580 seats in UP, which has been increased to 116400. Prayagraj 43733 to 46035, 65550 to 69000 in Varanasi, Kanpur 46322 to 48760, Gorakhpur 44137 to 46460, Meerut 38456 to 40480, Ghaziabad 41690 to 43884, Bareilly 15317 to 16127, while there was a 12627 selection in Noida 11996 to 16127. . Seats have also increased in Ayodhya, Ballia, Basti, Bijnor, Ghazipur, Jhansi, Lakhimpur.
