Latest Updated On 09/10/2022: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that all nursing colleges in the state will be rated. After nursing and para medical training, youth will get immediate employment. For this, five nursing institutes have also tied up with hospitals. He said that nursing colleges which meet the faculty, laboratory and other standards in the college should be recognized. No need to listen to anyone's suggestion.


The CM said this while formally launching the Mission Niramaya campaign at the SGPGI campus on Saturday. The Chief Minister said that in the 90s, if the IT sector was considered the prime of career in terms of career, then in today's era the nursing and paramedical sector is full of great opportunities. The Chief Minister said that due to lack of quality training, the state government had recruited 4700 posts for nursing staff. Applications came 1 lakh 2 thousand but only 3 percent candidates passed. Only 2200 were found worth the appointment. 12 institutes are being selected and made mentors. These institutes will instruct other nursing colleges to be better. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak, Chief Secretary DS Mishra, Principal Secretary Medical Education Alok Kumar, VC of Atal Bihari Medical University Dr Sanjeev Mishra were present in the program.
