1420 posts of Teachers and Non Teaching Staff created in 8 universities by Bihar Education Department latest news update 2022
Latest Updated On 24/10/2022: The Education Department has provide approval for the creation of 1420 posts of teachers & non-teaching staff in eight universities of the state. These vacancies have been created for 22 colleges of universities. The posts created include one post each of the Principal in all the colleges.
The Education Department has created the same number of vacancies in different universities by extraditing the 1420 posts already created for 22 govt colleges approved in November 2018 and notified on 27 May 2019, for 22 established or proposed to be established.

Education Secretary Asangba Chuba Aao, while releasing its notification, has informed the Accountant General, Bihar about this decision of the department. Since the same number of new vacancies have been created by extraditing 1420 posts, there will be no additional financial burden on them. Already the Governing Board of Directors and the State Council of Ministers had given their approval on this proposal.
Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga, Veer Kunwar Singh University Ara, E BRA Bihar University, Patliputra University Patna, Magadha University Bodh Gaya, BN Mandal University have been created in eight universities in which the vacancies of principal, assistant teachers & non-teaching staff have been created. Madhepura, Purnea University Purnia and Munger University Munger.
How many posts in which university
In Mithila University, 206 posts are for academic and 52 posts for non-teaching staff, 257 in teacher category in BRA Bihar University while 65 in non-teaching category, 104 and 26 in both categories in BN Mandal University, 153 and 39 in Purnea University, 153 in Magadha University. And 39, 159 and 39 of teaching category in VKVS, 51 and 13 in Patliputra University, 51 and 13 posts in Munger University are being created in both categories.
