Latest Updated On 17/10/2022: After online registration (registration form) from 7.75 lakh students of matriculation and inter of Jharkhand, one hundred rupees are being charged in the name of examination form. In ninth and 11th, where one hundred rupees are taken as registration form, while in matric-inter, one hundred rupees are taken from them as examination form fee. No amount is charged as fee for examination form in CBSE and ICSE, nor fee for online application form in Jharkhand Public Service Commission and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.
However, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) claims that the application form is uploaded on the website and it costs money for maintenance and upkeep. JAC used to provide registration form earlier and then exam form. Earlier, teachers from schools used to come to collect it and after filling it, they used to deposit other fees along with the fee of this form. This process has been made online by Jack for the past several years. Teachers download a form from JAC's website itself and get it photocopied depending on the number of students. The candidates fill the same form and submit it to the schools. After this, the teachers of the school fill it online. Schools where internet is there, it is filled and where it is not, teachers resort to cafes. In this, one hundred rupees separately for these registration form and examination form, along with its other fees are also deposited.

8.68 crores taken in 9th and 11th registration
In 2023, the students who took the matriculation and inter examination were registered in the ninth and 11th only in 2021. 8.68 crore was taken from the students as registration form fee. In class IX, 5,02,757 students were registered. A total of 5.02 crores were taken from them as form fee in addition to registration fee of Rs.100 each. In class 11, 3,66,305 candidates were registered. 3.66 crores were recovered in this. After passing the ninth, now 4,35,868 students are filling the matriculation form, while 3,40,954 successful candidates in the 11th examination are filling the examination form. One hundred rupees are being charged from them as examination form fee and a total of Rs 7.76 crore will be taken as examination form, which will be separate from examination fee, provisional, mark sheet, local levy, miscellaneous fee.
Form fee is not charged in CBSE and ICSE
CBSE and ICSE boards do not charge registration form and exam form fee. These boards collect examination fees and other necessary fees from the students. In both the boards also, the registration of board examinees is done in ninth and 11th only. In class 10th-12th, examination fees are charged from the candidates, in which separate fees are charged on the basis of subjects and practical subjects. In addition, a migration fee is charged.
Stationery charges are added to the ICSE board
Poor children study in government schools. If other boards are not taking the online registration and examination form fee, then in Jharkhand also the fee for matriculation-inter form will not be charged. For this, we will take action after talking to the officials.
