IIT Dhanbad Placement 2022: Placement Policy of 23 IITs will be decided latest news update 2022
Latest Updated On 23/09/2022: All IIT Placement Committee (AIPC) meeting of the head of Career Development / Training and Placement Cell of all 23 IITs of the country will be held at IIT Dhanbad. The meeting is being organized on 24 September at IIT Dhanbad. Preparation is in the final stage. It is important that the Professor in charge of the Career Development Center of IIT Dhanbad, Prof. Devjani Mitra has been made the convenor of AIPC.
Let us inform that IIT ISM became an IIT in the year 2016. This is the first time that Dhanbad is hosting the AIPC meeting. Experts say that the policy and rules for campus placement of students of session 22-23 will be decided in the meeting of AIPC itself. The common problem of all IITs will be discussed and solved. In all 23 IITs of the country, the formal campus placement starts from 1 December. Campus placement starts from zero day.

Till now 200 students got PPO
200 students of 2023 batch final year of IIT Dhanbad have got PPO (Pre Placement Offer) so far. Before the start of campus selection, meritorious students are selected and given PPO on behalf of many multinational companies. Dozens of students who got internship offer last year have also been offered permanent job as PPO by the concerned company.
Doing research for transgenders Prof. Rajni
Dhanbad. IIT ISM Prof. Rajni Singh is doing research to ensure transgender inclusivity. Recently, Rajni Singh visited Kolkata and met transgenders. Received other information including problems faced by them, whether facilities are being availed or not. The purpose of this research is to find ways to improve the condition of the transgender community and to provide them a better working environment. The National Human Rights Commission has made several recommendations in this regard.
