UP Health Department Vacancy 2022: Specialists on contract basis in government hospitals latest news update
Latest Updated On 01/09/2022: A list of the medicines available in the hospitals will be put up. Along with this, specialists will also be appointed on contract in the hospitals. In the divisional review meeting of the Health Department, Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob has given these instructions on Wednesday.
In a meeting held in the Commissioner's office auditorium, he said that the appointment of contract specialists in hospitals should be done on time. The commissioner said that complaints have been received that there are more number of ANMs in any district, but not even one is posted in some health centres. He directed the Chief Medical Officers to deploy them on the vacant posts. In the meeting, the commissioner also reviewed the Ayushman Bharat Golden Card scheme. Officials said that 28 lakh 20 thousand 313 people have benefited from Ayushman Bharat's golden card scheme in the board.

Regarding the payment of ASHA workers, the commissioner directed all the CMOs to get the verification done. Said that there should not be any delay in payment. Expressed displeasure over the delay in routine vaccination. In the review of UP Health Dashboard, the ranking of Lucknow division was found to be good. The commissioner also directed to keep all types of essential medicines available at hospitals and health centres. Additional Director Health Dr. GS Bajpai was also present in the meeting.
