Latest Updated On 12/09/2022: The scheduled program of distribution of recruitment letters in the last round in the missed planning units of the state has also been completed but the result was as disappointing as the earlier planning pattern. According to preliminary details, in the planning units where the process was going on in the last phase of the program, even 300 teachers could not achieve the education department in the final.
Under the 6th phase, out of 1.22 lakh teacher posts, about 79000 have remained vacant. In these, in addition to 49000 posts of preliminary, about 30000 posts of high school-plus two are included. According to the experts, due to the long planning process, a large no. of qualified teachers got engaged in other states & other works, which led to this situation of planning.

Less than 42 thousand elementary teachers can be reinstated
A little more than 41000 teachers could be recruited in two-three times. Primary Directorate released another recruitment schedule for the missed placement units on 29 July 2022 due to non-completion of recruitment process in all 9000 placement units. In its 75 planning units, planning letters were to be distributed from 7 to 10 September 2022. Earlier on 26 August, counseling cum certificates were to be matched. The total inflow of qualified applicants in counseling was less than 300 only. From this, it can be estimated that to whom the appointment letter would have been provided. However, the district will duly send its final report to the primary directorate in the next 1 or 2 days. In this way, out of total 90762 posts, less than 42000 elementary teachers could be reinstated & about 49 thousand of their posts remained vacant.
Eligible candidates were not found in about 30 thousand secondary teacher posts. Education Department is now preparing to stop the recruitment of sixth phase. The process of appointment to 90 thousand 762 vacant posts in 72000 elementary schools was started in July 2019.
7th stage preparation
Barring a few planning units of secondary & higher secondary, the planning program has been completed in all the planning units of the state. The education department is also now in the mood to end the 6th phase, because the minister of the department had also announced about it & the applicants are also continuously demanding to start the 7th phase. It is said that soon the end of the 6th phase can be announced by the department.
