The examination was held on 21 July 2019 for the recruitment of 30 posts of Senior Residents in the Dental Faculty of KGMU. The written examination was held for the first time for recruitment to these posts of nine departments. In this, the paper of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology was leaked. A doctor of the department had accused a senior teacher of the dental faculty itself. The then Vice Chancellor Dr. MLB Bhatt canceled the examination and constituted a committee and ordered an inquiry. The government had ordered an inquiry to the Divisional Commissioner. The investigation found three guilty.
