Latest Updated On 25/08/2022: In Jharkhand's elementary schools, 50 thousand posts of assistant professors and 174 new posts of assistant professors and principals of six new colleges have been created. At the same time, 1990 posts of doctors and para medical personnel have also been created for the newly created 134 primary health centres. The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren approved the creation of the post on Wednesday. The cabinet has also increased the pre-matric scholarship from 50 percent to three times for the students of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes from class 1 to 10. At the same time, the cabinet has also put its stamp on the compensation leave of one month to the policemen of the state.
After the cabinet meeting, Secretary of the Department Vandana Dadel told that a total of 38 proposals were approved in the meeting. 20,825 posts of Intermediate Trained Assistant Professors of Primary Schools and 29,175 Posts of Graduate Trained Assistant Professors of Middle Schools have been created. With the creation of the posts of Assistant Professors, now at least two Assistant Professors have been made in every primary school and one Assistant Professor each in Science cum Mathematics, Social Science and Languages in Middle Schools. After the appointment on these posts, the student-teacher ratio in the state will improve. There will be one teacher for 29 children in primary school and one teacher for 33 children in middle school. Due to the appointment of these posts, an expenditure of Rs 2317 crore will be incurred every year. In addition, a total of 2292 crores will also be saved due to extradition of 17448 posts created, disposal of 15,220 posts and 28,785 assistant teachers (para teachers) becoming government teachers.

Creation of 174 posts for six new colleges
In three colleges each of Ranchi University and Vinod Bihari Mahto University, 174 posts have been created. The posts of Assistant Professor including Principal have been created in Ranchi University's Degree College Khijri, Silli and Kolebira and Vinod Bihari Mahto University's Degree College Tundi, Gomia and Dhanbad. 29-29 posts have been created in every college. In these, one post of principal, 17 of assistant professor, one of upper class clerk, one of assistant librarian, three posts of lower class clerk have been created.
School students' scholarship increased by three times
The scholarship has been increased for the students of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes studying from 1 to 10. The scholarship has been increased from 50 percent to three times. The scholarship for children of first to fourth grade has been increased from Rs.500 to Rs.1500. At the same time, the scholarship has been increased from 1000 to 1500 for fifth-sixth, from 1500 to 2500 for seventh-eighth class students and from Rs. 2250 to Rs. 4500 for ninth-10th students. At the same time, rules have also been constituted for post matric scholarship.
One month compensatory leave for policemen
In the cabinet meeting, it was decided to give compensatory leave to Jharkhand policemen according to the basic salary of one month. The benefit of this will be given to constables, constables, assistant sub-inspectors, sub-inspectors and inspectors.
