Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University (BBMKU) has started preparing for enrollment in undergraduate courses, implementing the National Education Policy 2020. Several changes have been made in the four-year undergraduate course. There will be no general course or pass course in the new course. Students will also not get the degree of BA, BSc and BCom. Directly the major course i.e. which will be the main subject, will get a bachelor's degree in its name. For example, Bachelor's degree will be given in the name of Physics, Maths, Economics and others.
Experts say that now regular and vocational courses will be taught. There will be six papers in the first semester. Three of these papers are compulsory for all. Three to be selected from a group of subjects. Vocational course will be outside the NEP. The vocational course will be of three years duration. After doing three years course, PG will have to be done for two years. At the same time, PG studies will be of one year after completing four years of graduation. The BBMKU Management is waiting for the release of the notification from the Directorate of Higher Education for the new NEP based course. Due to this the university is not able to start the process of subject and seat mapping. As soon as the notification is issued, it is being said that the process will start in BBMKU.

University chancellor portal opened for Admission
The Chancellor Portal of Ranchi University, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi and Kolhan University has been opened for new enrollment in graduation. It is being said that the chancellor portal will be opened in BBMKU in the first week of August.
