Latest Updated On 19/07/2022: The CBI has busted a gang involved in rigging NEET for admission to the undergraduate course in medical (MBBS). The agency arrested eight persons, including those who appeared for the actual candidates, suspected masterminds and paper solvers.
According to the FIR, the CBI had received information about a conspiracy by the NTA to appear in NEET held on Sunday at several centers in Delhi and Haryana to substitute genuine candidates. It is alleged that the conspiracy of fake candidates was to take the examination in place of genuine candidates by taking huge amount. The accused had taken the user ID and password from the candidates and also made necessary changes for the preferred examination centre. Photos were also tampered with it.
