Latest Updated On 24/07/2022: Dhanbad ranks 23rd in the state in the biometric attendance of teachers working in government schools. It has been decided to stop the salary of such teachers who do not make biometric attendance.
DSE Inderbhushan Singh has said in the instructions issued to all the BEEOs on Saturday to assess the teacher wise biometric attendance. For the number of days the attendance is not shown on the biometric, the salary for the number of days will be deferred. Salary should be paid only for the period present. This order will not be applicable to the teachers deputed for monitoring, examiner work.
In the letter issued by the DSE, it has been said that due to the low attendance of teachers on the e-Vidyavahini portal, the DSE and DEO have been ordered to improve the review of video conference. Instructions have been given to make the salary payment of the teachers of the district on the basis of biometric attendance.
On July 22, the post change of cancellation of salary withdrawal on the basis of hard copy of biometric attendance was done in the WhatsApp group by the office-bearer of the teachers union. After review it was found that Dhanbad district was ranked 23rd on the e-Vidyavahini portal on 22nd July.
Get it repaired by 15: Jharkhand Education Project Director has said in the order that the faulty biometric device should be repaired before 15 August 2022.
Office workers should also make biometric attendance: Nandkishore
Nandkishore Singh, District General Secretary of All Jharkhand Primary Teachers Association said that the office workers should also make biometric attendance. DSE implement it in office. Many teachers are deputed to other schools. Necessary instructions should be issued for that also. The department should also consider other problems including repairing the faulty device.
