Latest Updated On 16/07/2022: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has lodged an FIR at Namkum police station to investigate the paper leak case in the Junior Engineer examination held on 3 July. JSSC President Sudhir Tripathi lodged an FIR on Friday on behalf of the commission after a meeting with Jharkhand Director General of Police Neeraj Sinha.

JSSC President has said that an FIR will be lodged to investigate the JE appointment exam. DSP Headquarters Neeraj Kumar has been entrusted with the task of investigating the matter. Examinations were held on July 3 in various examination centers for the 1289 posts of Junior Engineer. After the examination, the candidates had alleged that the question paper had gone viral a day before and the answer was also viral. The allegation of the candidates was that some people were removed 1 day before by giving questions and answers so that they could be successful in it. There was also an allegation of money laundering and rigging. The commission has lodged an FIR only for a fair investigation of all these allegations.
