Latest Updated On 16/07/2022: Many students could not appear in the University Common Entrance Test (CUET)-UG (Graduation) on Friday due to the last minute change of centres. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now decided to give one more chance to such students.

The first phase of the University Common Entrance Test was conducted by NTA in more than 510 cities across the country and abroad. Last minute changes were made in the examination centers of many students, due to which they could not reach the examination centre. There is a lot of anger among the concerned students regarding this and a complaint was also made to the NTA. After this, in a statement issued by NTA, it was said that the students who could not take the exam due to change in center will be given another chance with the second phase of this examination in August.

Students upset due to change of CUET Exam Center

Many students had to face difficulties due to the last minute changes in the examination centers for the CUET-UG (Graduation) held on Friday in the examination centers of more than five hundred cities of the country including the capital. Many students could not even attend.

There was disappointment on the face of Khushi, who did not give the exam due to change of examination center. Mangel Singh, father of a student resident of Karawal Nagar, told that the future of my daughter is in balance. Earlier we were told the examination center in Dwarka Sector 3 but after going there we came to know that there is no examination there, it is in the North Campus. After that he was not allowed to take the exam here. On this we called 100 number. Police also came but no solution was found. Its one paper is on Saturday. Now I am thinking whether he should give the exam or not.

Aanchal, who came to take the exam, told that I was told that my examination center has been changed. I panicked and didn't know what to do. When we finally reached the North Campus after a two-hour journey, we were told that the time to enter the examination center had passed. When I was told that this was not my center, I then checked my e-mail. We cannot see mobile again and again.

A student Zara wrote on Twitter that her exam center was changed to Ghaziabad at the last minute. Which was three hours away from his home, even though he had not applied for change of examination centre.

The examination was canceled due to technical snag at two centers in New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and Pathankot in Punjab. NTA has decided to give chance to those who appeared in the first stage exam along with the second stage in August.
