Trending News: Bihar Police Female Constable will give Computer Screening Test latest news update 2022
Latest Updated On 11/07/2022: Women police personnel desirous of posting in the Emergency Response Support System (Dial 112) introduced for emergency services will have to undergo a computer screening test.
This test has been organized for such women constables applying from various district forces and units who come under the prescribed conditions of Call Response Associate. They will be selected for deputation in Dial 112 only after the test. Dial 112 is an ambitious project of Bihar Police. Instead of dialing separately for the service of police, ambulance or fire brigade, now one has to call only 112 number. Apart from Patna district, this service has been started in all the district headquarters of the state. The purpose of starting this scheme is to provide immediate help to the people in case of emergency. A Control and Command Center has been set up for Dial 112 at its Wireless Headquarters in Patna. Phone calls coming from all over the state are received here. This responsibility rests with the Call Response Associate. Women constables have been deputed for this post. Since this is to be expanded to the entire state, a large number of women police personnel are to be deputed to the Control and Command Centre.

Test will be held on 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th July
Recently, applications were invited by ERSS from women policemen willing to work in Dial 112. After shortlisting the applications, 391 women constables have been called for the test. These are posted in the district force or units. This screening test has been kept on 12, 13, 14 and 15 July. AK Ambedkar, the nodal officer of DG BSAP-cum-ERSS, along with the list of women policemen, has asked the SSPs and SPs of the respective districts to send them to Patna to appear in the test. During the screening test, basic knowledge of computer and typing will be tested.
