Recently he confirmed the release date of the film and now on Sunday the actor shared the new poster of his film Raksha Bandhan and announced the trailer release date of the film. In the poster, Akshay Kumar is seen sitting on the boundary made on the roof of the house.

According to the information, the story of this film will be based on the love and bond of brother and sister. Actress Bhumi Pednekar will be seen opposite of Akshay Kumar in the movie Raksha Bandhan, directed by Aanand L Rai. Bhumi is playing the role of his sister in this film. Earlier, the pair of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar were seen in the film Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
This film was announced by Akshay Kumar on the year 2020 Rakshabandhan. The actor dedicated the film Rakshabandhan to his sister Alka Bhatia.
Raksha Bandhan Movie 2022 Release Date
The film will clash with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha in cinemas on 11 August 2022. Now, it has to be seen whether Akshay Kumar can beat Aamir with his film at the box office or not.
