Application for enrollment in Patna University and the schedule of entrance examination has been changed. The date of application has been extended from June 4 to June 25 by the university. Students have the last opportunity to apply.
CBSE result was not out, due to which this opportunity of application has been given. The date of the entrance examination of June 18, which was already fixed by the university, has been extended to July 9. At the same time, more than 20 thousand students have registered so far in BA, BSc and BCom. Apart from this, more than four thousand students have registered for graduate level vocational courses. The speed of students applying in Patna University is less as compared to last year. However, Patna University has five thousand five thousand seats including undergraduate, regular and vocational courses. In this, science college is the first choice of students for the study of science. At the same time, students move to other colleges only after this. Similarly, commerce college is considered to be the best for studying B.Com. The craze of Patna College for the study of arts has decreased. The craze of BN College and Magadha Mahila College has increased.

Interview begins for appointment of guest faculty
Head of Department of Applied Economics & Commerce suspended
Head of Department of Applied Economics & Commerce, Patna University Prof. Mahesh Prasad has been suspended. During the suspension, they have to make their presence in the commerce college. In his place Prof. SB Lal has been made the in-charge president. Its notification has been issued.
The process of interview for appointment to guest faculty in PU has resumed on Monday. The interview process for Psychology subject took place on Monday. For this 48 candidates had applied. The interview process continued till late night.
