Fifty percent additional salary to the faculty

Fifty percent additional salary will be given to the faculty posted in the medical colleges of hilly areas of the state. A decision in this regard was taken by the cabinet in the past. After this, now orders are going to be issued in this regard.

Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said on Tuesday that this would completely remove the shortage of faculty in the hilly areas. Also the faculty will be ready to work in the hilly area. He said that special focus is being laid on the development of facilities in the medical colleges of hilly region.
