The government has approved the recruitment of 43 more sub-education officers in the education department. Orders have been given to the Education Department to send a fresh proposal to the Commission by revising the recruitment proposal sent earlier to the Public Service Commission immediately.

Earlier, the education department had sent a proposal for new recruitment of only 33 sub-education officers to the commission. With the new approval of the government, now the number of these posts will be 96. It is to be known that at present, the process of recruitment by promotion to 43 vacant posts of BEO is going on in the Education Department. Their DPC has also been done.

With the promotion to the post of BEO, the posts of sub-education officers will be reduced significantly. The matter was also brought before the Education Secretary Ravinath Raman.
