Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed the office bearers to ensure speedy restoration of all the institutions that are being set up. Manage whatever resources are needed. The Chief Minister was delivering his address on Wednesday after inaugurating 17 buildings of Science and Technology Department at a cost of Rs 893.60 crore and laying the foundation stone of five buildings to be constructed with Rs 193.67 crore through video conferencing at Ek Ane Marg.
The Chief Minister said that we have decided that if we make anything, then we will maintain it properly. All the institutions there should be maintained properly. Maintain cleanliness everywhere. We have constructed many excellent buildings. Samrat Ashok Convention Center was built in Patna, Bihar Museum and Sardar Patel Bhawan were constructed very well. Bapu Tower is being built in Patna, in this you will get all the information about the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Mahabodhi Cultural Center has also been constructed in Bodh Gaya. It was decided to build a Science City in Patna and it has been named after Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Apart from Patna, a planetarium is also being constructed in Darbhanga. Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum in Vaishali and International Sports Academy in Rajgir are being constructed.
Operation of engineering-medical university will start soon in the state
The Chief Minister said that engineering and medical universities are being set up, whose operations will start soon. Buildings of engineering and polytechnic colleges are being constructed in all the districts. There are some places left, which will be completed by the end of this year. This has been assured by the officials, it is a matter of happiness. He said that no one will have to go outside Bihar to study under compulsion. At least 35 percent reservation is being given to girls in medical and engineering studies.
Roads, bridges and culverts were better constructed
The Chief Minister said that we have visited many places and inspected the newly constructed buildings. All are very well made. He said that roads, culverts and buildings have been constructed well, maintenance department should be done properly for this, if engineers and employees are needed, then they should also be restored. The Chief Minister said that all the students should study diligently. Those who teach also teach with love. If everyone studies then they will move forward and this will lead to development of Bihar.
