6 thousand is honorarium
The secretaries of the village court get an honorarium of 6,000/month. According to the rules & instructions, the secretaries of the office are choose for the duration of the working period of the village court. The agreement of secretaries automatically ends when a new court is formed. But, if the state govt wants, it can also released an order for extension of service of the already working secretaries for the new court. The said order has been released under this provision.
The Panchayati Raj Department (PRD) has prepared a proposal for the appointment of 8067 Executive Assistant. Now the consent of the Finance Department on this proposal will be taken shortly. After it, the process of appointment will be started after getting approval from the cabinet for the creation of these vcancies. These will be agreement posts.
According to the details received from the department, it has been decided to post 2 executive assistants in all 8067 gram panchayats of the state. At present, 1 executive assistant is working in the panchayats. It has been decided to recruited one more Executive Assistant each for regular better operation of RTPS counters (Right to Public Services Act) set up in Panchayats. In this regard, the departmental officers also inform that other works are taken by the district administration from the executive assistant working in the panchayat besides Panchayati Raj Department. Therefore a separate Executive Assistant (EA) has to be posted for the RTPS counter. So that, the work of RTPS counter is not affected & people get regular service from here.
