Now MTET in UP on the lines of TET
Latest Updated on 04/04/2022: Madarsa Teachers Eligibility Test (MTET) will now be conducted on the lines of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted for government teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. In state government recognized and aided madrasas, now madrassa managers will not be able to directly recruit teachers on vacant posts at their level. In a conversation with Hindustan, Dr. Iftekhar Javed, Chairman of Madrasa Board gave this information.
Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board will first invite applications for these vacant posts. After that the written examination of the selected candidates will be conducted. After completing the process of interview etc. of successful candidates in this written examination, the Madrasa Management will appoint.

Along with this, now education will also be done through mobile app in aided and recognized madrasas. UP Madrasa Board has prepared a mobile app. It will be launched after Ramadan. Board's registrar SN Pandey said that along with all the NCERT courses, the material of religious education courses will also be available in the mobile app. This study material will be very useful for the teachers.
