Latest Updated on 01/04/2022: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Thursday that ten thousand jobs would be given to the youth of the state in 100 days. He gave these instructions at his official residence in a meeting with the presidents of the selection commissions and boards of the state. He said that all the employment examinations related to one session should be completed in the same session.
Annual targets will be fixed: The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to connect the youth with government jobs and provide them employment. The govt has connected youth with 4.5 lakh govt jobs in the last 5 years. The Chief Minister directed the departments to send the requisitions on time. He also learned about the progress of digitization of this system.
Reservation should be followed in recruitment: The Chief Minister said that the rules of reservation should be followed completely in the recruitment process. The rules of reservation should be mentioned in the advt. of recruitment. To make the employment process fair, transparent, fair & corruption free, special care should be taken in the selection of examination agency & selection of examination centers. Coordinate the relevant departments and boards. The Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Appointment and Personnel, Additional Chief Secretary Home etc. were present in the meeting along with the chairpersons of various selection boards.
Will get eight months to take charge
The state government will now give five months time to the newly selected ones to join the government departments. In special circumstances, it will be extended for a further period of three months. Accordingly, the total time limit will be eight months. Earlier this time limit was only for two months. Additional Chief Secretary Personnel and Appointment Devesh Chaturvedi has issued the mandate on Thursday. It has been said that as before, the appointment letter will have to be issued within three months. First one to two months time will be given for joining.
Distribute smartphone soon
CM said that preparations should be expedited for distribution of smartphones & laptops to the beneficiaries in all the districts. It should be decided that laptops & smartphones should be distributed to the students in the presence of MPs and MLAs in all the districts.
