Jharkhand Govt Schools Caste Certificate online application 2022 start from 2 May
Latest updated on 18/03/2022: There will be online application for caste certificate of children in government schools of Jharkhand from 2 May 2022. The process of online application of students from class 1st to 12th will continue till 20 May 2022. At the same time, from July 1 to 15, the caste certificate will be distributed in the schools itself. For this, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh has given instructions to all the Deputy Commissioners. He has directed to issue caste certificate by running a campaign in all the schools. The government has taken this decision in view of the problem being faced by the students of the state in getting their caste certificate. In this, caste certificate will be made available to all the students of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Extremely Backward Classes and Backward Classes studying in government schools of the state. The Chief Secretary has directed that for making caste certificate, online application will be filled from the children by going to the schools through Common Service Center. All the Deputy Commissioners will ensure school wise, date wise tag to all the Pragya Kendras of the district from their level. The Deputy Commissioner will issue instructions for deputation of office bearers and personnel for the cooperation of Common Service Center in every school. They will also ensure that the personnel of Pragya Kendra are present in the schools on time with all their necessary equipments so that the application forms and other documents from the students can be uploaded on the online portal. The operators of the Common Service Center will also give a receipt to the children or to the headmasters according to all the applications. Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh said that based on the total number of schools and number of students studying in the district, how many Common Service Centers and volunteers would be required in the campaign, it should be assessed.
Also, one nodal officer should be nominated in every district. Those nodal officers will review it every day & inform the Deputy Commissioner.
Caste Certificate will be available free of cost
School children will not be charged any fee at the time of applying for caste certificate. They will get caste certificate free of cost. The information technology and e-governance department will give money to the Common Service Center for the caste certificate. After preparing the caste certificate among the children, it will be distributed between 1 July 1 and 15 July.
