Court refuses to stay assistant professor recruitment process
Jharkhand High Court has refused to stay the appointment process of 1118 Assistant Professors. The court of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad has said that the final order of the matter will affect the appointments. Simultaneously, the court dismissed the intervention petition filed for stay.
Dr Taslim Arif has filed a petition in this regard. It said that JPSC issued two advertisements in 2018 for the appointment of 1118 Assistant Professors. The recruitment process was started on 566 backlog posts and 552 regular posts, but only the university has the right to make rules. The government has framed the rules, which is wrong. It was told by JPSC that the process on backlog posts is in the final stage, while for regular posts, document verification is to be done from 28 February 2022.
