2101 vacancies of teachers are vacant in Dhanbad
2101 posts of teachers are vacant in government schools of Dhanbad. Of these, 1399 posts are vacant for elementary teachers (for classes I to VIII) and 702 teachers in high schools and plus two schools. The district education department has sent a report in this regard to the headquarters. Importantly, the sanctioned strength of full time headmasters in middle schools is 237.
All 237 posts are vacant in the district. There is no permanent headmaster. All the schools are run by the headmaster in-charge. It has also operated for many years. On seeking information about the vacant posts from the state headquarters, it is expected that the recruitment process will start soon. Apart from this, the Education Minister of Jharkhand has said on several occasions that the recruitment process for the vacant posts of teachers will be started soon. However, no orders have been issued in this regard so far.
