Maximum number of 4794 teachers will be appointed in Darbhanga
Districts have uploaded the names and numbers of the selected candidates on their NIC portal for giving appointment letters to the primary teacher candidates. According to this, out of 42047 elementary teachers, 4794 are in Darbhanga district. 2429 in Muzaffarpur, 2017 in Samastipur, 1787 in Nalanda, p. 1536 in Champaran, 1511 in Banka, 1466 in Gaya, 1485 in Aurangabad, 1239 in Patna, 1402 in Bhojpur, 1342 in Madhubani, 1361 in Rohtas, 1381 in Bhagalpur, 1280 in Begusarai, 1060 in Madhepura, 1120 in Purnia, in Araria 1069, 1060 in Vaishali, 1148 in Sitamarhi while 1078 in East Champaran have been selected to get appointment letters. The lowest 119 in Lakhisarai, 174 in Sheohar, 282 in Sheikhpura and 343 in Arwal have been selected.
The Education Department had issued the notification for the appointment of 91 thousand elementary teachers on July 5, 2019. According to the earlier schedule, the appointment letter was to be received before 31 March 2020. But it was postponed for the first time on 11 February 2020. Then eight or ten times by various judicial orders, it continued to move forward. Ultimately, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary announced the distribution of appointment letters from February 23. All the districts have been finalized by the order of Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar. 42047 candidates have been selected, although the eligibility of 900 (TET-STET) is invalid.
1338 will get appointment letter in Patna
In Patna district, 1338 candidates will get appointment letter on Wednesday. 1213 at the block level and 125 candidates for primary and middle schools of Patna Municipal Corporation area will be given appointment letters. DEO Amit Kumar informed that the appointment letters for Dhanrua, Punpun and Sampatchak blocks will be given in the school of the block headquarter.
The school has been marked for this. At the same time, the distribution of appointment letters will be done in the Kanya Middle School Adalatganj for Patna Municipal Corporation area.
Ban on appointment of 20 candidates
According to the DEO office, the number of candidates who had been counseling. Out of this, the appointment letters of 20 candidates have been withheld. Appointment letter will not be given to these candidates yet. There has been a discrepancy in matching their certificates. For this reason the certificate is being verified. Decision will be taken after investigation.
Appointment letters will be distributed for three days in many districts of the state
On February 23, distribution of appointment letters will start in all 38 districts. About one and a half to two dozen districts including Patna will complete it in a single day. However, appointment letters will be distributed on three days 23, 24 and 25 in big districts like Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Begusarai, Samastipur, Khagaria etc. Somewhere this process is expected to continue on 26th as well. According to the Additional Chief Secretary, on the basis of the choice of those who get the appointment letter, they will be posted in the school. Those found correct in the investigation will start getting salary while the salary of the rest will be paid after certificate verification. The investigation is scheduled till 30 September.
