The odd semester examination proposed on 20 January 2022 in Government, Aided and Private Polytechnic Institutes has been postponed.
It was not possible to conduct the examinations due to the increasing corona infection by the Council of Technical Education and the duty of teachers in the Legislative Assembly elections. After this, the examination committee of the council met on Sunday and decided to postpone the examinations of odd semesters. Sunil Kumar Sonkar, Secretary, Council of Technical Education said that it has been proposed from March 15 by postponing the examinations of odd semesters. By then the condition will become normal & the assembly elections will also be completed. Simultaneously, online examinations of even semester will be conducted in online mode from 22 January 2022. Campaign created pressure: In the midst of Corona transition, from 20 January 2022, offline examinations were protested by polytechnic students on the social site. The continuous campaign to postpone the examinations was increasing the pressure on the Technical Education Council. The government had also ordered to keep all the colleges closed till 23 January 2022.
Classes will run online till 23/01/2022
Lucknow University and its affiliated colleges will run online classes till January 23. Earlier classes were done online till January 16, but since the cases of corona are not decreasing right now, online classes will be continued now. The exams till January 31 have already been postponed.
