Jharkhand 125 high schools will be upgraded in plus two schools latest notification 2022-23:
According to the availability of teachers, enrollment will be done in all the three faculties of Intermediate and studies will start. Along with this, the recruitment process of teachers in plus two schools will also be started, so that postgraduate teachers can be reinstated there. There is no limit on the number of seats in plus two schools. The school can take as many enrollments as it wants. At present, in addition to 510 plus two schools in the state, enrollment is to be done in Kasturba Girls Residential School in Intermediate.
Decision will be made on merit list or examination: Tet pass candidates will have to appear in the next teacher recruitment process in the state. Earlier, they were selected on the basis of merit. The Education Department is currently brainstorming on both the matters. One chance may be given to the candidates on the basis of merit list. Initially, teachers will be appointed on the basis of merit in the appointment of 26 thousand posts. After this, Tet pass candidates will be able to become teachers only after successful in the examination conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission in the 72 thousand posts being upgraded.
