The selected teacher candidates of elementary schools (classes 1st to 8th) of the state will be given appointment letters simultaneously on 25 Feb 2022 in all the districts. In this regard, the Education Department has directed all the districts to make necessary preparations on Wednesday. About 50 thousand teacher candidates are expected to get appointment letters on 25/02/2022. The process of counseling is already going on for the appointment of 90 thousand 762 posts of elementary schools. Under this, 38 thousand teachers have been selected in the last two rounds of counseling. Two rounds of counseling were held in July and August. In this sequence, the process of counseling for the third round is to be completed by January 28, in which 12495 posts are to be appointed.
In this way, including 38 thousand already selected candidates, about 50 thousand are expected to get appointment letters. In the order issued by Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of the department, it has been said that the selected candidates of Panchayat Planning Unit and Block Planning Unit will be given appointment letters at the respective Block Headquarters. Similarly, the selected candidates in the municipal body will be given appointment letters in the respective district headquarters. The department has also made it clear that if any kind of laxity is found in the appointment letter distribution work, then all the responsibility will be of the concerned District Education Officer.
