Selection Procedure Details

JK Police SI Written Examination

1. Written Exam will be consist only Multiple Choice questions.
2. The questions in JK Police SI Written Test will be set only in English language.
3. There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
4. Marks scored by candidates in the written exam will be considered for preparing final merit &-off marks.

JK Police Sub Inspector Physical Standards

Males:

i) Height: 5’- 6”(minimum)

ii) Chest girth: 32”(unexpanded)

iii) Chest girth: 37/2” (expanded)

Females:

Height: 5’- 2” ( minimum ) given that for the applicants belongs to the Gorkha Community, the minimum height should be relaxed by 2”.

JK Police Sub Inspector Physical Endurance Test

Males:

Long Race: 1600 meters in 13/2 minutes ( Six minutes thirty seconds )

Push-ups: 20 ( one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)

Female:

Long Race: 1000 meters in 13/2 minutes (Six minutes and 30 seconds)

Shot put (4Kgs): 29/2 feet in three attempts.
