CBSE Board 10th 12th Exam 2021 latest notification: Central government has taken a big decision regarding the cases of growing corona infection across the country. In the high-level meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, it has been decided to cancel the examination of 10th and postponed the examination of 12th. The Union Education Secretary was also present in this high level meeting.
Explain that the demand for cancellation of CBSE board examination was gaining momentum. Many political, social and film personalities, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, had demanded the postponement of the board examinations in view of the condition of corona infection across the country. It has been decided to postpone the CBSE board examinations in the higher level meeting. As per the decision, Class 10th board examinations have been canceled and Class 12th board examinations have been postponed. The new schedule for the 12th examination may be prepared by the board after reviewing the status of corona infection on 1 June 2021. Giving information about the decision, Union Education Minister Nishank tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Wednesday, 14 April 2021 to review the proposed board examinations in May in view of the Corona situation.
The Education Minister said in the meeting that the Prime Minister reiterated that the well-being of the students should be the top priority for the government. He also said that the Central Government will take the best interests of the students into consideration and ensure that their health is taken care of, as well as their educational interests are not harmed. The board examinations for Class 12th to be held from 4 May to 14 June 2021 have been postponed. These exams will be conducted later.
The position will be reviewed by the board on 1 June 2021 and details will be shared. Commencement of the examinations will be given at least 15 days in advance.
At the same time, the 10th class examinations have been canceled. The result of the 10th board examination will be done through the assessment method prepared by CBSE.
If a student is not satisfied with the marks obtained under the evaluation, he will be given a chance to appear in the examination. The examination will be conducted when the circumstances are favorable.
6 lakh candidates from Delhi
It is to be noted that CBSE's 10th and 12th board examinations were to be held from 4 May to 14 June 2021. This time more than 30 lakh students were going to appear in the CBSE board examinations. The examinations were proposed to be conducted in offline mode. Earlier, the datesheet of the CBSE board was changed due to a clash in the dates of the JEE Main Examination. Six lakh candidates in the CBSE board examination alone are from the national capital, Delhi.
