  • Name of the post: RO / ARO (Review Officer/ Assistant Review Officer)

Important information for candidates applying online
This advertisement is also available on the Commission's website http://uppsc.up.nic.in. The "ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM" is applicable to apply in this advertisement. Applications sent by any other modes will not be accepted for this recruitment. Therefore, candidates should apply online mode only.
Regarding "online application", applicants are advised to understand the following instructions thoroughly and apply accordingly: -
1. ONLINE ADVERTISEMENT will be displayed automatically on the website of the Commission http://uppsc.up.nic.in on the contact by the candidate "ALL NOTIFICATIONS / ADVERTISEMENTS", in which the following three parts are -
1- User Instructions
2- View Advertisement
3- Apply
A list of all advertisements in which the "on-line application method" is applied. In User Instruction, the candidates have been given guidelines related to filling the on-line form. Click on "View Advertisement" in front of the advertisement which the candidate wants to see. After doing this, "Sample Snapshots" related to the online application process will be displayed along with the entire advertisement. Click "Apply" for online application.
The work of "Online application" will be done at the following three levels: -
First Level - On clicking Apply, the 'Candidate Registration' will be displayed relative to the exam and on clicking 'Candidate Registration', the Basic Registration Form will be displayed. After filling the Basic Registration Form, before clicking on the Submit button, the candidate should check the filled information thoroughly and if any modification is to be done, click on the Edit button, after being satisfied with the filled information, click on the Submit button. , As a result of which the registration of the first phase will be completed. After that 'Print registration slip' will be displayed, on which click and get the print of registration slip.
Second Level - After completing the first step process, 'Fee to be deposited [in INR]' will be displayed on the screen with the caption "Click here to proceed for payment". After clicking on the above caption, the home page of State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) will be displayed on which three modes of payment will be displayed. (i) NET BANKING (ii) CARD PAYMENTS (iii) OTHER PAYMENT MODES, "Payment Acknowledgment Receipt (PAR)" will be displayed after depositing the examination fee prescribed by any of the above mediums, in which the full details of the examination fee submission will be displayed. Will remain marked, get its print by clicking on 'Print Payment Receipt'.
After completing the third level - second stage process, the format will be displayed after clicking on 'Proceed for final submission of application form'. Online information will have to be filled in the said format and photo and signature will have to be scanned and uploaded. Candidates should scan their photo and signature in the prescribed size (the size will be mentioned at the designated place in the online application). Also keep in mind that the photo should be up to date and Chest. If the photo and signature are not scanned and uploaded in the prescribed size, the on-line system will not accept the application. The process of scanning and uploading the photo and signature is given in Appendix-1. After marking all the entries on the application format, by clicking "PREVIEW", the candidates can see the information filled by them, that all the information has been filled correctly and only after being fully satisfied, to send the application to the online commission. Click the "Submit" button. It is necessary to click on the "Submit" button till the last date to submit the application by filling all the information in the on-line format as per the correct instructions, if the "Submit" button is not clicked by the candidate of the on-line application. The process will not be completed and it will be the responsibility of the candidate. After clicking on the "Submit" button, the candidate should take a printout of the application and keep it safe with him. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate has to be submitted in the said Print Commission Office, otherwise the request of the candidate will not be accepted.

Special Instructions related to the syllabus for the posts of Review Officer (Hindi) and Review Officer (Urdu): -
In the main examination, there will be additional question papers of qualifying nature separately for translation according to the prescribed syllabus for the post of Review Officer (Hindi) and Review Officer (Urdu). The said question papers will be of conventional type, whose duration will be 3 hours and integer 100. It will be mandatory for the candidates who give preference for the posts of Review Officer (Hindi) and Review Officer (Urdu), to get a minimum of 33% i.e.; 33 out of 100 in the said question paper of translation. Candidates scoring less than 33% marks will be considered ineligible for both the posts in question. Only those candidates who have claimed the above posts in their on-line application and have been declared successful for appearing in the main examination on the basis of preliminary examination, for the above posts. The merit of the candidates appearing in the examination for selection to the posts in question will be determined on the basis of the total marks obtained in the main examination along with all the candidates ie in the final selection list, the marks of the qualifying question papers will not be added in the determination of the superiority of the candidates. .
