Central Board of Secondary Education i.e.; CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj clarified that there has been no change in the decision regarding the 12th board exams. According to circular issued on 1 April, the exams of 12th class for the remaining 29 subjects will be held across the country, but there will be no exams of class 10.
The result will be declared on the basis of internal assessment and other parameters. However, the remaining papers will be conducted in the riot-affected areas of Delhi. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, while clearing the speculation of the exams, said that the board is waiting for the lockdown to end. Now they will not be made. Only in North-East Delhi, there are exams of some subjects which will be held as soon as when lockdown will ends. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia had suggested Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal not to conduct the board exams. Sisodia said during the video conferencing that he said that keeping in mind the need for physical distance, it is not practical to conduct board exams for the remaining subjects of 10th and 12th class in May or June as well.
